As usual its been awhile and lots has happened. The first major event was the section meet on Nov. 11. I managed to end the season by dropping a couple tenths of a second, meaning that i went out with a personal best. That still didn't help me from coming in dead last in my event. We managed to qualify our medley relay to state, and Jenny made state cuts in 100 back. Needless to say, Eggs made state cut. At least this year she's not the only one going.
Also on the 11th intensive theme started. That means that i had art for 7 class days. Well, if you subtract the times i was gone i was only there 4 1/2 days. One of those was a field trip. And in those remaing 3 1/2 days i managed to finish 3 major projects leaving with a final grade of 95%. Not bad if i do say so myself.
The most recent adventure was my weekend trip to Bradley in Peoria, IL. It was a seven hour drive, with my grandma. I slept a good chunk of the way there and back. Friday at Bradley was spent touring the campus, attending a class on the history of England, going to a student panel, and participating in a photo scavenger hunt, then ended w/ meeting a prof. of geology. Most of this was rather boring. The scavenger hunt proved fun. After all this, i met my host for the night. This turned out to be the daughter of my 6th grade history teacher. Very freaky. She took me and Maggie (the other prospective student) to a basketball game. Bradley won, but barely. We then went back to her dorm and talked until this guy Peter called asking Kyle (my host) to show up at his party. We went to his party and met several weird drunk people. Then we went to this other party where we met more crazy drunks. We also met Jake and his two overnighters. Finally we went to Jake's dorm rooma and watched Johnny Darko. I slept on and off throughout the whole movie. We didn't get back to Kyle's dorm til 4:15. It was crazy but it was a lot of fun.
So that's been what's happening. Phil, Stacy, Sean, Bee and i are gonna try to do a camping trip to canada this july. Mom won't let me go to canada, but she'll let me go if we stay in the us. I really wanna go so i hope other parents give the ok. then we can reallly start planning.
Anyway, i gotta go now.
